I’m Vickie, a digital designer working and living in San Francisco. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY with a constant supply of backyard BBQs, Saved by the Bell re-runs, Florida vacations, and Weiner dogs. I graduated from the New Media Design Program at RIT in 2013, and nervously packed my bags to move west with two of my closest friends.
I spent five years watching, learning, and growing at Odopod amidst incredible talent and mentorship, creating beautiful and thoughtful designs for giants like Google and eBay, startups like Quizlet and Fitbit, and long-term retainers like Hennessy and Audemars Piguet. When Odopod closed it’s doors, I began a new chapter in-house, as a product designer for Pinterest, designing tools to create and promote Pins that help users discover and do what they love.
I believe the best way to have a happy work life is to have a happy out-of-work life. I’m a big fan of musical theater, Shirley Temples, walking home, ice cream, traveling, lazy sundays, and dogs. Not that into rain, egos, or bell peppers.
